Incoming!

Diamond Star Blocks, c, 1970s, with double-knit polyester

It may be a coincidence. It may be that I'm just looking more when I've got a little extra money, or it may be that people list quilts on eBay when the weather starts to change. Whatever the reason, I've had great success buying in September and October during the last three years. As a result, I've got more quilts and some blocks incoming during the next week! Here are some of my latest finds.

Make-Do Patchwork, c. 1965, Texas
Bowties, c. 1975, Texas
String Crazy, c. 1975, Texas
Shoo Fly, c. 1970, Texas
Can't wait to open my front door and discover the packages on the doorstep. It's an exciting time of the year. Most every day is like Christmas!

  3. OK, so YOU are the one bidding against me....I suppose I should post some of my polyester wonders. it never occurred to me that anyone but me would be interested....

when my brother and I were young, and we wanted to mock some one one, we would say "ohh, some one borrowed that shirt from Polly, or her sister Ester...."
