Thank You, Latimer Quilt & Textile Center!

Fans, c. 1920, New York
Thank You, Latimer Quilt & Textile Center for a successful exhibit - "Masterpiece Quilts, Modernism in American Patchwork, 1810-1970". I hope a lot of people enjoyed the display of quilts during the last two months. It was fun, and I would exhibit quilts at the center again in a heartbeat. Here are some pictures.

And here are some of the quilts that were on display. The emphasis was modernism, and all of the quilts were pieced, covering the tradition of geometric pieced quilts from the early 19th century to the late 20th century.

Special thanks to Carol Weber, the Friends of Latimer Quilt & Textile Center, and the staff at Latimer for the special care they took with the quilts during the renovations. Things moved around a lot during the last two months, and by the way, the renovations look great! I am very proud to be a Life Member of Latimer, and hope to exhibit at Latimer again in the future.
