polyester peace doves

This outstanding polyester peace doves quilt came from Susan Watson, an eBay seller in Marshall, Texas. I have bought several quilts from Susan over the years. She finds great things, and many of them are polyester.


The quilt includes 20 blocks with white and green polyester appliqued to light green polyester ground. The motifs are outlined in decorative feather stitch and contoured with straight stitch. Each bird has a red, embroidered eye. The quilt is 70" x 86" and is a great addition to the collection. I couldn't think of a better way to ring in the new year. Peace!

    Polyester. Indestructible. Warmest quilt I've ever slept under. My grandmother made a bow tie one out of old clothes. It's over 40 years old and doesn't look a day over one year :)
