"That's hot."

This 1970s scrap quilt is hot, just like today's weather!
It's definitely summer here in Portland. When I was driving around this afternoon, temperature display said 99 degrees. Hottest day of the year in Portland, Oregon -- and hopefully it won't stay this way for long. It was a good day to stay indoors, but I got a lot done, both in and out of the house.

Today I sent the bulk of the contents for my book to the publishers, Quiltmania, in France-- 2 & 1/2 months early!! And I will NOT apologize for quoting these two young ladies, because they are a lot smarter than you might think, so...

...as Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie would say, "That's hot."

  1. 2 1/2 months early? You realize, don't you, that you're making the rest of us mortals look bad.

    1. That's why it's hot! But there is still some work to do. One quilt yet to arrive - photos. Introduction to write, already partially written, and a couple other random things. Allowing more time for layout and proofreading is a good thing when half the book will appear as French translation!

  3. Wow, 2 1/2 months early, that's great. Always better to get done early than wait until the last minute. :) I agree it was way to hot today.
