"...they're still out there, you just have to look..."

Rainbows, suns, moons and stars in "sweet little calico" prints
I bought a couple 1970s quilts on eBay this week. It's been a long time since I bought any quilts, so it was a little surprising. Just pokin' around on eBay...and there they were. It seemed like the selection of great 1970s quilts had dried up the last time I browsed through eBay listings, but they're still out there, you just have to look.

This quilt is coming from a seller in Sandy Hook, Connecticut. It is 74" square, made of sweet little calico prints includes square blocks with machine appliqued rainbows, stars, moons and suns.

The other quilt is a whimsical, child-size medallion made of polyester double knit. It is 40" x 51" and is coming from an eBay seller in Florida.

  1. I am not in to '70's quilts.... BUT you make them look so fun. Glad to see your "report".
