Here's the last block of the 1970s double knit polyester Crazy Block quilt from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. This block deserves its own post because it carries the most important information- the first names of the makers and recipient.
The embroidered inscription says, "To Rolla from Aunt Beulah, Dora, Margie." We can also say the quilt was a family quilt because one of the makers was the aunt of the recipient.
As soon as I see a printed proof, I'll release the book. It will be the small square format offered by Blurb, and it will be 80 pages, full color! Hope you've enjoyed seeing all 63 blocks in this masterpiece of the 1970s.
What a cool quilt!! Yes, I've enjoyed the crazy quilt journey.
