Open - a day early!!

The quilts are up, the labels are in place, the lights are set, and "Beauty Secrets: 150 Years of History in One Quilt Pattern" at the Benton County Museum is open - a day early!! Originally the exhibit was scheduled to open on Friday, but things went so smoothly yesterday, it was actually ready to go this afternoon. So, it will be open tomorrow - Thursday. "Beauty Secrets: 150 Years of History in One Quilt Pattern" is on display now through October 1st at the Benton County Museum in Philomath, Oregon as part of Quilt County, a biennial, countywide celebration of quilts. 3. I would love to see your stunning collection in person, but living in Australia makes this a problem, so the next best thing was ordering your book. It's wonderful to see one of my favourite quilt patterns in different colourways & variations of the pattern shown in one book, every time I turn the page I have fallen in love with another beautiful quilt. Hope all goes well with your exhibition. from Jenny McH

  13. Big WOW. Even if the quilts were just so-so (joke) the method of display is exhilarating. Nicely done, Bill. Homage to Uli for planting this seed of a killer-collection, which continues to astound us. And we know youʻre committed to making us spin in our blog-seats with each additional beauty! Thanks for the ride. Beau regards!

  15. Gah! I still have to drive down and see the final installation in person. There were ladders and tables everywhere when I left last Tuesday.

    This week!
