Banner Day

Last week we drove up to the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, California to see the new quilt exhibition. The exhibition is called "The American Quilt, Cloth & Commerce" and is beautifully curated by Tara Miller of The Quilt District.
When we got to the museum, there was a big surprise. The exhibition banners. The quilt we found at Goodwill a year earlier was featured on the enormous exhibition banner hanging on the front of the museum. Oh. My. Goodness!
Wow! What a surprise!
We had a nice time in California. It was Linda's birthday the day after we arrived. We missed being with her twin sister, Diane, but it was worth the trip. The exhibition was wonderful, and it was a banner day!
