Up Next: "Masterpiece Quilts" exhibit

A select group of pieced quilts from my collection will soon be on display at Latimer Quilt and Textile Center in Tillamook, Oregon. "Masterpiece Quilts, Modernism in American Patchwork, 1810-1970" looks at rare and unusual pieced quilts and considers the visual language of geometric patchwork.


The exhibit will be on display at Latimer Quilt and Textile Center, 2105 Wilson River Loop in Tillamook, Oregon, from March 3rd to May 4th 2014. An open house will be held in conjunction with the center's Spring Tea & Silent Auction on Sunday, March 9th from noon to 4PM. For more information, click here.

    Thank you for showing these wonderful pieces - I shall never get to see them for real, I suppose, but they look fabulous in the pictures. I love that phrase "visual language of geometric patchwork", as they do indeed speak to us! xCathy
