"Roots of Modern Quilting" Opens October 10th

Two quilts from my collection are now on loan to the New England Quilt Museum for their upcoming exhibition "Roots of Modern Quilting" - scheduled to open on October 10th. Lucy Mingo's "Bible Story" from 1979 is one of them, and the fabulous 1970s polyester "Woven Pattern" is the other.

Last I heard, they were trying to figure out the best way to hang "Bible Story" since it is not a straight line across the top and is kind of wonky. Hope it makes it in to the show! For more details, visit the New England Quilt Museum website.
