This jaw-dropping quilt is made of polyester double knit fabrics, and came from a seller in Georgia. When I saw it for sale online, I had to have it. Didn't even have to think about it.
According to Barbara Brackman's Encyclopedia of Pieced Quilt Patterns it is #425.7, "Woven Pattern" by Meeker. I didn't know about Meeker before, but L.K. Meeker of Portland, Oregon, published a book in 1979, called "Quilt Patterns for the Collector". Portland! Who would've thought? No wonder I love it so much.
Wonder if this person is still around in Portland?
