Since I had an extra $200 I had intended on spending on the two Andrea Balosky quilts I didn't end up getting, I thought it would be fun to order some other quilts. I went a little over $200, but no harm done! Here's what I ordered, and hopefully I got to them first.

ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of the Patrons program either, but I'm a Quilt-A-Month Club member and a $1000 Promise member. I'm almost up to the $1000 mark! Woohoo! I will check out the patrons now. I have 5 AAQI quilts in my collection now.
ReplyDeleteI love our Patrons of Our Art segment. And I so love that you stayed with the AAQI donation commitment and bought other quilts! Absolutely so wonderful of you, Bill...you are a true patron of the quilting arts in so many wonderful ways!!

ReplyDeleteThank you, Beth! It's nice to see there are a few other collectors out there who are interested in these quilts. As I mentioned to Ami, I'd like to be prepared to have a major exhibit of these quilts in the future, with catalog, etc. So, stick around for a while. I've got a lot of buying to do!
DeleteSo, I'm looking at the auction quilts and find several I like. Guess who has the current high bid? WW I'm really glad that bidders can't snipe on this auction. Now, I have to decide whether to try to outbid you.
