When I first saw it, I was very much involved with sports and sports journalism, and I said, "Those are USC colors!"

I've come a loooooong way since then. :)Bill Volckeninghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02212965199140126299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-373996407183148608.post-49327104517799426052010-12-06T07:55:25.561-08:002010-12-06T07:55:25.561-08:00I love both blocks! The more simplified version in her daughter's quilt is wonderful too!
Thank you so very much for the detail pics. :)Ann Championhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08142572469569643507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-373996407183148608.post-71666947333909931802010-12-06T06:57:32.324-08:002010-12-06T06:57:32.324-08:00Since seeing this beauty close up I would just cal...Since seeing this beauty close up I would just call is beautiful... I'm always amazed how different quilts look when you are looking at the whole or a close up of one block. I think applique lends itself to much more individuality leading me to have to say "in the style of or like" a lot!

Love the reverse applique and the graceful leaves in the second block.YankeeQuilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03324287185970922332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-373996407183148608.post-79656522568243991122010-12-06T04:30:03.118-08:002010-12-06T04:30:03.118-08:00whoa! If I had to choose between the two blocks, my vote goes to the second. Both do show lots of movement, not something I usually associate with applique. Sorry I can't help with identifying anything, but I am enjoying the close ups.lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13965043838288712362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-373996407183148608.post-22380670295235920962010-12-06T01:05:59.769-08:002010-12-06T01:05:59.769-08:00I haven't a clue as to the pattern, women then...I haven't a clue as to the pattern, women then like woman not, created for themselves.
